Refund & Cancellation Policy
PI900 provides custom technology work, software services, subscriptions, maintenance and other professional services. Refund and cancellation treatment depends on the type of service purchased and the work already performed.
1. Custom Projects
Custom development projects may require an initial deposit or advance payment to reserve engineering capacity, begin discovery, purchase required resources or commence work.
Once work has begun, amounts corresponding to services already performed, engineering time already used, completed milestones and non-recoverable third-party expenses are generally non-refundable.
2. Project Deposits
A project deposit may become non-refundable once PI900 begins discovery, design, engineering, development, implementation or other contracted work.
If a project is cancelled before work begins, PI900 will review the payment and any commitments already incurred to determine whether a full or partial refund is appropriate.
3. Milestone Payments
Payments associated with completed or accepted milestones are generally non-refundable because they represent work already performed.
Cancellation of a project does not eliminate payment obligations for work completed before the effective cancellation date.
4. Recurring Maintenance and Managed Services
Maintenance, hosting, support and managed-service plans may be cancelled for future billing periods by contacting PI900 at support@pi900.com.
Cancellation stops future renewals after any applicable notice period. Fees already paid for a current service period are generally not prorated after that period has begun unless otherwise stated in the applicable agreement.
5. Software and Subscription Services
Subscription services may renew automatically when disclosed at purchase. Customers may cancel future renewal by contacting PI900 before the next billing date.
Unless required by law or stated differently in an order or agreement, charges for a subscription period that has already begun are generally non-refundable.
6. Third-Party Costs
Domain registrations, cloud infrastructure, licenses, APIs, telecommunications, payment-processing expenses, app-store charges, purchased assets and other third-party costs paid or committed on a customer's behalf may be non-refundable when the third-party provider does not permit reimbursement.
7. Refund Requests
To request review of a payment, contact support@pi900.com and include the customer name, invoice or transaction reference and a description of the request.
PI900 will review the applicable agreement, project status, services already performed and any third-party expenses before determining whether a refund is due.
8. Project-Specific Agreements
A signed proposal, statement of work, service agreement or order may contain project-specific cancellation or refund terms. Where those terms differ from this general policy, the project-specific written terms control.
